July 2013 Ipsy Bag

Welcome back ^_^

Let me tell you man was I excited when Jose came from work this morning! Not because I saw him, but because in his hand he held my Ipsy package. lol

I received the following for this month:

Lets get started:

In my bag I got this nail polish from Nailtini in the color Mai Tai. It's a beautiful coral color. In the bottle it looks very similar to NYC Times Square Tangerine. But when I applied them, Mai Tai was more of a red orange. It also has great coverage in one swipe compared to NYC which is more sheer.

Next, we have Coola mineral sunscreen moisturizer. It has no tint and is also unscented. I have not opened this yet so I can't tell you how the consistency feels. I will also update later on how this feels on my oily skin and if it doesn't make it worse or break me out.

I also got this Big Sexy Hair Humidity resistance spray. The directions say "Apply to finish look to repel humidity, combat frizz and maintain your style."
I will have to see how it smells and see If i can use this as i suffer from chronic migraines and am VERY sensitive to smells. Oh and also to see just how much it really is anti-humidity.

Next I got this Pop Beauty Pouty Pop Crayon in Coral Crush. Really creamy and really pigmented. Its almost the same color as last months Starlooks Lipliner in Tipsy, just not as bright.
I love the color payoff and that it's goes on really smooth. Only thing, I just wished this month they could have given me a different color instead of another coral lip product.

Last but not least, My favorite item out of the whole bag. A sample of BH Cosmetics California Collection. The dark purple, Hollywood, is from the BH Hollywood palette. Bronze is from the San Francisco palette and the gorgeous gold is from the Malibu palette.
All are shimmery, very pigmented colors.

There is a total of 7 products in which any 5 you could have received. Overall, I am happy with what I got for this month. With the exception of maybe the lip product.

FOTD 7/7/13

This is today's makeup.
I didn't want to use mascara so instead I uses a really pigmented eyeshadow to do a winged "eyeliner".

I know you really can't see it but I tried to take a good pic.

Hope you enjoyed :)

My Nighttime Face Products

Hello Loves

So after I used my ponds makeup remover and neutrogena facial scrub:

I use these 2 products. First the acne control and then the anti-wrinkle one

And I grab about this much for my face
You really don't need a lot

And just a lil bit more for both my eyes as this is where I focus more with makeup.

I've used the clean & clear acne control moisturizer for years and I love it!! I usually use 2-3 pumps for my whole face and I apply both in the morning and at night.

Hope you enjoyed this lil post :)

Ipsy: June 2013 Glam Bag

So I finally decided to join the Ipsy Craze and subscribed.  This is what I receive for this month:

I received the Psssst! On-the-go Instant Dry Shampoo, which is suppose to "soak up oil, sweat, & product build-up, taking hair from dirty, flat and matte to refresh and revived." I guess we'll see about that one I try it out.

Next I received Cailyn Line-Fix Gel Eyeliner in purple. It says thats its "water resistant, smudge-proof & 24 Hour wearable."

Next I got Starlooks Lip Pencil in Tipsy. It's a coral color, not something I would buy but imma give it a try.

I also received this J. Cat beauty Sparkling Cream Palette in Suzie. It is NOT for the eyes so I'm not quite sure for what I'll use  it. Haven't swatched it yet so I don't know the consistency of it. Pretty colors tho.

And Lastly my least favorite item from this month. NYX Rouge Cream Blush in ORANGE!!! Not a cream blush fan, but if it had come in any other color but orange I'm know I wouldn't have mind the testing it out. My 1st impression when I saw it was... Orange!!! Really?!?!?! Lol
I'm not sure if you can really see it in the picture but believe me, it's orange.

Oh and let's not forget my favorite item about this Ispy bag. The little Baggie itself!!! I do LOVE me some cheetah print. lol

Overall I liked what I got. I read that you can trade on Ipsy's Facebook so imma gonna try and see if I can do that and get the highlight pencil. Idk we'll see.

That's all for now. Thank You for stopping by and see you in the next post ^_^
